PTDF SCHOLARSHIP 2019/2020 APPLICATION FORMS

The PTDF Scholarship programme application forms can be viewed online (http://ptdf.flexisaf.com/) and payment can be made using online transaction of your banks ATM Master, Interswitch or Visa card or through the purchase of a scratch card from assigned branches of First Bank of Nigeria at all the 36 States, upon payment of a sum of N1,000 (One Thousand Naira Only) which is NON REFUNDABLE.

It’s very important for applicants to note that only those who meet the PTDF scholarship requirements are shortlisted and then invited for a CBT (Computer Based Test), for MSc applicants, while for PhD applicants, oral interview will be conducted for them.

After the conducted tests and PTDF scholarship interview, successful candidates are being selected and awarded the PTDF Scholarship.

THE PTDF OVERSEAS SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS

The PTDF SCHOLARSHIP 2019/2020 are very competitive and only the outstanding candidates are selected. Applicant selection committee are being constituted to consent applications using the below criteria;

Applicant should be Member of professional bodies
Merit of academic achievement as evidence of quality degrees, the full academic transcripts, publications should be referenced to by applicant (PhD applicants only) and some other professionally acquired qualifications.
The applicant should have a documented importance of the research or study plan.
The applicants are also required to make a reason for their scholarship application by submitting a statement of purpose (maximum of 500 words) stating reason(s) why they want the study scholarship, the relevance study to the industry and its return expected impact on the national development.

WHAT TO HAVE FOR THE PTDF OVERSEA SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The applicants for PTDF OSS must possess the following:

The G.R.E (USA Graduate Record Examination) record
The TOEFL (USA) Test of English as a Foreign Language
The USA GMAT for Management related courses record
UK’s IELTS (International English Language Testing System)

WHAT TO KNOW ABOUT THE PTDF MASTERS SCHOLARSHIPS SCHEME 2019

For this scheme, candidates are to apply to specific programs through PTDF at the PTDF partner institutions in any of the designated countries.
The PTDF programs also include language classes to aid the scholars settle in their new environments.
The PTDF scholarship award includes; flight tickets provision and payment, payment of candidates health insurance, payment, tuition and bench fees payment (in regions applicable) likewise the provision of regular allowances to cover costs of living and accommodation expenses.

THE PTDF POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS REQUIREMENTS

Candidates NYSC (National Youth Service certificate) is required
The applicant must possess an O/level with a minimum of Credit in English Language; (C4 and above in the NECO exam or C6 at least in WAEC/SSCE)
The applicant’s age mustn’t be above 30 years.
The applicants should be computer literate;
The minimum of (2.1) 2^ND Class Upper OR (2.2) 2^ND class lower division in Oil and Gas related field industrial experience is required.

THE PTDF PHD SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS IN 2019

Candidates NYSC (National Youth Service certificate) is required
The applicant is required to tender a research proposal that is relevant to the oil and gas industry (which is not more than 5 pages) it should include; the research topic, introduction, the mode of data collection, the objective and the methodological relevance to the industry.
The applicant must have an employment teaching oil and gas related disciplines in the academics of a reputable Nigerian Institution
The applicant must possess an O/level with a minimum of Credit in English Language; (C4 and above in the NECO exam or C6 at least in WAEC/SSCE)
The applicant must possess a valid institutional admission letter
The applicant’s age mustn’t be above 40 years.
The applicants should be computer literate;
The candidate must attain a minimum of (2.2) second class upper division in their first degree and likewise minimum of merit as a second degree certificate in oil and gas related discipline.
The minimum of (2.1) 2^ND Class Upper OR (2.2) 2^ND class lower division in Oil and Gas related field industrial experience is required.
