Providian Medical Scholarship | Scholarship for College Students 2020
The Providian Medical Scholarship is offered to students enrolled in an accredited high school or college in the United States. A student must maintain 3.0 GPA, be either in final year of high school or enrolled at the undergraduate level in good academic standing to qualify.
A necessary requirement of an essay of up to 1,500 words that describes how medical equipment technology has changed the face of a college course and curriculum is also needed.

A $20,000 Scholarship Could Be Yours
A $20,000 Scholarship Could Be Yours, is rolled out to incoming college freshmen who can demonstrate just how sports have helped them grow as leaders in their schools and community.
Approximately 20 scholarships of $20,000 will be awarded and one scholarship winner will be awarded an additional $5,000 for showing exceptional academic achievement, leadership and love of the game.

One Young Earth Filmmakers Contest
The One Young Earth Filmmakers Contest is available to both college and high school students who are no more than 25 years of age bracket.
The requirements include, a submitted video between three and eight minutes that shares and highlights solutions to the issues discussed in the chosen sustainability topic(s) chosen from the list on the sponsor’s website.
Note, the film entry’s theme must be solution based and the film should talk about an environmental / sustainability problem and then discuss what could be a potential solution to this problem. Videos may be submitted by either an individual or a group and animated videos of no more than 45 seconds will also be welcomed.

Available to U.S. students in grades 6 through 12, the Travel Is Education Scholarship requires you to submit two-dimensional artwork, photos or a writing (maximum one page) on the theme of “Becoming a Global Citizen”.
The sample topics are available on the Web site provided. You must also be traveling on an ACIS tour between October 15, 2019 through October 14, 2020,to qualify.

The Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) Essay Contest on Biographies of Contemporary Women in Mathematics is available to all students in three categories namely: grades 6-8, grades 9-12, and college undergraduates.
Requires an essay that is primarily based on an interview with a woman currently working in a mathematical career and be approximately 500 to 1000 words in length. The winning essays, get posted on the AWM web page and the grand prize winner, gets his or her essay published in the AWM Newsletter.
