WAEC result 2019 for May/June 2019 exam was released on Friday, 26th July 2019 by the West African Examination Council.
This means candidates who sat the May/June 2019 WAEC examination can now check their scores. Also candidates who sat the May/June 2019 WAEC examination and were not involved in malpractices can check their results.
What To Know About The Waec Result 2019 For May/June 2019 Exam
The Head of Nigeria National Office for WAEC, Mr. Olu Adenipekun disclosed the following about the WAEC result 2019:
- A total of 1,596,161 candidate registered the May/June WAEC 2019 Exam while only 1,590,173 sat the exam.
- Out of 1,590,173 who sat the exam, only the total of 1,468,071 candidates result were fully processed
- The above result represents 92.32 per cent of candidates that sat for the examination.
- Out of 1,590,173 who sat the exam, 798,075 were females while 82,098 were male.
- While 122,102 which represents 7.68 per cent of candidates that sat the WAEC 2019 examination still had a few of their subjects being processed.
- The Head of council also said candidates who followed the council rules and regulations will be able to check their WAEC results online.
- From those that had five credits, 512,657 were females while 507,862 were males.
More About WAEC 2019 Result
- While candidates who obtained a minimum of five credits and above were 1,020,519.
- The above result were those of candidates who sat their exams in 18,639 secondary school in Nigeria
- The May/June WAEC 2019 Exam were also written by candidates at some schools in Equatorial Guinea, Benin Republic and Cote d’Ivoire.
- A total of 180,205 results were withheld due to exam malpractice.
- To check the WAEC result 2019 candidates are required to use the results checker pin on their identity cards used during the WAEC 2019 examination.
