CERN offers international Internships and a fully funded CERN Summer Student Program in Switzerland to all nationality holders., and offers opportunities to undergraduates and Master’s degree students from any academic background.
CERN does not require an IELTS for internship and no application fee. This year, CERN is carrying out an online summer program because of the current COVID-19 situation. This is a fully funded international internship program by CERN, and it offers a lifetime of spending summer in Switzerland.
CERN Online Summer Student Program Switzerland 2021 costs, including airfare tickets, stipend, accommodation is fully sponsored by CERN. The duration of the virtual Switzerland Exchange Program is for 3 months for international students.

The duration of the program starts every Monday from the start of June to the start of July: June 7, June 14, June 21, June 28, and July 5, 2021.

Eligibility Criteria
Intending candidates are to note the following criteria before applying:
- Candidate must be a Bachelor’s or Master’s student (not PhD).
- Must not have worked at CERN before with any other status.
- Should be fluent in English.
- Having a good knowledge of French would be an added advantage.
