Introduction to the Mexico Government Scholarship 2024
Applications are now open for the Mexico Government Scholarship 2024. The Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID) has announced the launch of applications for the Fully Funded Mexico Government Scholarship 2024.
This scholarship is available to foreign citizens from over 180 countries and covers a wide range of academic programs, including full-time undergraduate, master’s, PhD, postgraduate research, and postdoctoral programs. More than 90 Mexican higher education institutions are participating in this scholarship program.

Successful applicants will have all their expenses covered, including airfare, tuition fees, registration costs, a monthly stipend, accommodation, visa fees, and health insurance. This comprehensive scholarship aims to support international students in pursuing their academic goals in Mexico.

The Mexico Government Scholarship 2024
Scholarship recipients will receive the following support:
– Monthly stipend
– Enrollment and tuition fees covered
– Medical coverage
– Visa fee waiver
– International flight tickets
– In-city transportation

Required Documents
– Completed and signed scholarship application form.
– A letter explaining your motivation for pursuing studies or research in Mexico (maximum 2 pages, Arial font size 12, single-spaced).
– Curriculum vitae (maximum 3 pages, Arial font size 12, single-spaced).
– Letter of academic acceptance from the Mexican institution or response from the Higher Education Institution (HEI) to your application for admission (see the Requirements section of the acceptance letter).
– Letter of commitment to return to your country of origin.
– Letter of acceptance of the terms of the call.
– Copy of your birth certificate.
– Copy of a valid passport in color and open book format or a government-issued photo ID.
– Copy of a medical certificate issued by a public or private health institution within 3 months prior to the application submission, indicating that you are in good health.
– If Spanish is not your native language, you must submit proof of advanced knowledge of Spanish (minimum level B2 within the Common European Framework of Reference) issued by a university or educational center.
– A letter in which you declare under oath that the information provided is true.
– All documents and forms must be in Spanish or accompanied by translations into Spanish.

Eligibility Criteria
• Students who are citizens of any of the countries listed above are eligible to apply for a scholarship.
• Applicants must not currently be living in Mexico.
How to Apply
Please complete the application form in Spanish. You can apply online via the Academic Cooperation Management System (SIGCA). It’s advised to use Google Translator to translate the application guidelines and other documents into English. The official website link is provided below.
