Samsung Will Be Making Security Updates Available to Devices for Four Years – Samsung is sweetening things up by announcing that it intends to start offering four years security patches for its mobile devices, which is a good deal for device owners that won’t cost them anything extra. This comes right after the company announced that it was bringing Galaxy S21 features to other galaxy mobile devices.
Samsung has a reputation for keeping its phones secure by offering three years of updates. With today’s announcement from Samsung.com that the company will offer four years of updates, it has pushed itself further ahead of other smartphones maker.
The company makes things a lot sweeter by not limiting this deal to its new Galaxy devices only, the company announced that most galaxy devices released from 2019 till date will be eligible for the fours security updates. This includes phones and tablets from Galaxy Z, Galaxy S, Galaxy Note, Galaxy A, Galaxy M, and Galaxy XCover series.
