The Turkish Government Research Scholarship 2021 or Turkiye Burslari Scholarship is open to international students who wish to pursue undergraduate, master’s, and Ph.D. programs at various universities in Turkey for the academic year 2020-2021.
The Turkish Government Research Scholarship 2021 covers tuition fee, accommodation, health insurance, return flight ticket as well as monthly stipend up to 1600 TL.

Eligibility Criteria For Turkish Government Research Scholarship 2021
To stand eligible for the Turkish Government Research Scholarship 2021, candidates are to fulfill the following requirements:
- Required Language: English or Turkish
- Eligible Countries: All world countries
- Minimum Academic Criteria:
Minimum academic achievement for Bachelor’s degree applicants: 70%
Minimum academic achievement for Master’s and Doctorate degree applicants: 75%
Minimum academic achievement for Health Science (Medicine, Dentistry and Pharmacy applicants 90%.
Age Criteria
- Candidate must be under the age of 21 for undergraduate programs.
- Candidate should be under the age of 30 for Master’s programs.
- Applicant should be under the age of 35 for Doctorate programs.

- Candidates are expected to have a TOEFL or IELTS certification.
- A candidate must show an official academic record, which shows all certificates, courses, and grades which they may have received in their academic career.
- An applicant is to provide a letter stating their purpose in taking this scholarship program. If your statement of purpose requires improvements and the essential key points are missing in your SOP, you may likely face rejection.
- Applicants are not expected to have any health problems.

Turkish Government Research Scholarship 2021 Application
Here is a step-by-step guide on how to apply for the Turkish Government Research Scholarship 2021:

- Note, application can only be made individually via www.turkiyeburslari.gov.tr
- There are no institutions or persons who are authorized to apply for Turkish scholarships.
- Candidates are advised in their own interest to carefully read through the instructions and warnings in the application system.
- Applicants are to submit and upload the required documents to the application system.
- Applications that are delivered by post, courier, or by hand will be rejected.
- Application is free of charge.
