According to Kanayo, these disruptions occur once financial transactions are made, leading to premature departures from set schedules that were initially agreed upon.
The actor recounted a specific instance where Maram allegedly retrieved her daughter from a movie set at 9 p.m., three hours before the agreed-upon time of midnight. This breach of contract not only halted production but also imposed additional costs and scheduling conflicts, exacerbating the challenges faced by producers in the industry.
In the video released, Kanayo emphasized the unity and professionalism that underpin the Nigerian movie industry. He declared that from June 21, 2024, onwards, he would personally intervene to prevent any film involving Angel Unigwe from shooting should her mother continue her current practices.
