The West African Examinations Council operates an e-Registration portal which is a user friendly online portal for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination. On this portal, Nigerian schools can sign on their candidates online by ways of the internet.
This e-service portal makes registration easy for the schools and eliminates errors in registration information which are generated on paper and only detected while processing the paper forms by Waec.
This portal, has archives like Timetable and Syllabus which the examination can be easily printed or downloaded by the school authorities.
Waec 2020 Registration Date
Waec 2019/2020 registration is slated to start around November 2019 and end around January 30th, 2020. The date for the examination itself for this year 2020 is around April 2020.
Waec 2020 Registration Cost
The Waec registration cost, varies between schools, thus we cannot categorically state a particular amount for the waec form. But be it as it may, the common price fixed the examination body is less than N12,000.
Accepted Banks for Waec Registration PIN
It is always best to go the banks recommended to make a payment for your Waec form to avoid disqualification. At these banks, intending candidates are expected to pay a registration fee of around thirteen thousand naira nine hundred and fifty naira (13,950) only (Note that this amount is subject to change by Waec) at any branch of the following banks or any accredited agent to get the registration PIN and details Information VCD.

After candidates have obtained the Registration PIN, they can login to https://registration.waecdirect.org/ for registration.
Must i be a Student of a Particular School to Sit for Waec in that School?
No. You can opt for any secondary school as your examination centre as long as you go to the center and indicate your interest to sit for exams there. Just follow the instructions and do all that the school demands. Note also that you may be charge more than what the real students of the school pay since you are an external candidate.
