When is JAMB Form Closing Date? | Jamb 2020 Registration Date
The closing date for JAMB form has been slated for February 17th 2020, note that this date can change at any time. According to Prof Is-haq Oloyede, an optional mock examination for candidates will take place on February 18, 2020.
This was disclosed by the board’s registrar on Monday at a stakeholders meeting in Abuja, where he met with commissioners for Education from all the 36 States of the federation. Now it’s no longer business as usual when it comes to JAMB extension date. This is because the board may decide to extend or not to extend the closing date for whatever reason they deem fit.
Thus, in order not to miss out on this year’s exam, intending candidates are advised in their own interest, not to wait for an extension date. Thus, intending candidates should try as much as possible to register early enough as soon as you can so as not be affected by whatsoever decision JAMB may come up with.
JAMB through its registrar has stated that JAMB would kick start the 2020 examination process by October and promised that the procedure for the next exam would be better than the previous one. The board also stated that JAMB is putting in place some checks to ensure that people who want to apply are minimally qualified.
Since the board no longer encourages late registration in JAMB again, as was in the past, candidates who wish to sit for the exams must make an early start to meet up. Now the deadline can only be postponed if there is a cogent reason to do so.
Candidates who fail to register on the stipulated dates will face the penalty which is missing on the exams this year. Thus, candidates are strongly advised to hasten up and register on days outlined to avoid missing out.
